I'm a wimp!
I went to a weight training (or self described "total body sculpting class") on Monday. Here it is Thursday and I'm still sore. Guess I'll have to go down to embarrassingly light weights next Monday.
Kim, I totally know the feeling! I just did an upper body workout on Monday for the first time in a while, and I pushed myself as far as I could go. Usually when I'm lifting weights for the first time in a while, I go easy on myself because I know I'm going to be really sore, but this time I didn't. I could barely put my arms above my head to put my shirt on yesterday!
Good luck with your workout next week! But don't hold back too much because as your body gets more used to working out, you won't get so sore after a workout anymore.
The first time I ever did weight training, I was sore for the next day and a half. And my training partner said, "Oh, you need to work out again and it will go away." And weirdly enough it did. You just have to not push yourself too much on the second workout.
If I go for a couple of months without working out, my first workout will leave me cripplingly sore, even if I go easy. Then after that, I have a hard time making myself sore, no matter how much I work.

Pha ha, at least your exercising. I'm terrible with stuff like that. And body sculpting?! Wow!

So you going back again today?

I am planning on going back tonight. I obviously need this class more than I though. :)
