Halloween

The local squirrel seems to think my lawn is a good place for his pine cone hoard. I didn't even know squirrels hoarded pine cones. I threw them all up on the dirt the other day, and the next day they were back. Then I threw them up on the dirt again, and the next day they were back. Guess I'll have to throw them away. But then he'll probably just get more.

Lily's birthday

The other week we were outside and found this injured dragonfly. I don't know what it is about dragonflies this year, but they've been everywhere. I'm sure it made some bird a super lunch.
